Keepmoat Regeneration appointed our team to design, manufacture and install a wide range of steel services for their project at Carlton Gate, Leeds, including structural portal frames, balustrading, balconies, Juliet balconies, fencing, gates and benches.
This was a huge project, which began with the manufacture and installation of structural portal frames for the apartment blocks. This was followed by installing balustrading up the concrete staircases inside the apartment blocks, as well as Juliet balconies in the apartments themselves. We also installed fencing and gates around the entire housing estate.
We installed over 100 balconies and 1,500 m of fencing over the course of the project, across six apartment blocks and four housing blocks. Lots of design changes throughout the project and revisions to the drawing added to the challenge of the work. We also had to work to incredibly tight deadlines because other trades were behind on some work.
We're proud of the excellent working relationship we built with the site manager, providing a quick turnaround on the project. Our team pulled out all the stops to ensure the project was finished on time and to the highest quality.
