Metalwork Rotherham

The Project

Thorndell Engineering successfully completed various metalwork packages in the Town Centre of Rotherham via Main Contractors Willmott Dixon for and on behalf of Rotherham Housing Development, RMBC. This was a Hat Trick housing development, creating 171 new homes for the region.

Henley Garage in Wellgate, Sheffield Road, and Millfold House on Westgate were the site locations for a mix of houses and apartments for council housing, shared ownership and affordable sale. The value of the project was £31.8m. It will make a difference to the local community by providing high-quality council housing and opportunities for locals to get on the housing ladder.

We aimed to provide quality workmanship and products such as balustrading, handrails, and ornamental and security fencing and gates. Willmott Dixon is a great Main Contractor, and we look forward to working together again in 2024.
