Stadium Steelwork, York

The Project

Thorndell Engineering are currently in the process of supplying and installing a range of secondary steelwork to the York Community Stadium, including wind posts and other metalwork.

The new stadium will be an all-seater sports stadium, projected to seat 8,005 people, and is due for completion around the middle of 2019. The new building will be a multi-purpose stadium owned by City of York Council.

The new grounds will be shared by York City Football Club and York City Knights Rugby League Football Club. It promises to be a fantastic addition to the city, housing a leisure complex and community hub as well as the stadium.
